“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
This verse reminds us that God wants good things for us. He wants more for us than from us. When we lack clarity, or the busyness of our day can cloud our direction, God is ready and willing to provide us wisdom. This verse reminds us we can complicate things that sometimes God meant to be simple. When we need something, ask.
Lord, I am in desperate need of you. When I lack clarity, please remind me to seek after you first. I can feel weighed down by task at hand, but my heart wants to hear from you first on all things. I love you, Amen.
