1 Thessalonians 1:3

We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sometimes it is important to stop and remember. The pace that life often demands can cause us to stop reflecting on the goodness of our lives. On Mother’s Day, we pause to honor all women and celebrate Moms. Who can relate to a labor of love more closely than a mother? Moms, today, we pray that you feel: honored, cared for, and celebrated, but mostly, loved to the depths of your soul by our Creator.

Lord, we thank you for the gift of Moms. Father we acknowledge that this day can bring joy to some, but perhaps pain to others. For those that have heartache that is accented on this day, I pray your perfect peace would be wrapped around their hearts. You have given us every good and perfect thing and we are so grateful for the role that Mom’s have played in our lives. Thank you for loving us in our imperfection. We love you, Amen.
