Exodus 3:4

“When the Lord saw that he had gone over to see, God called the him from the middle of the bush, Moses! Moses! He answered, “Here am I”. CJB

INSIGHT: Moses responds with “hineni” (I’m here or here I am) to God’s summons. Based on every usage of this idiom in the Torah (1st five books). Hineni means, “I’m already here, and I am willing to do whatever it is you wish, before you even ask.” This is what Moses meant when he said this to God.

PRAYER: Father, I want that same attitude in me. Thank you that by Your grace and mercy You have given me Your word and Your Holy spirit to allow me to grow into it. Lord I am here. In Jesus Name.
