Luke 15:8-10

“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Insight: In this passage, Jesus teaches us that God views every person’s salvation as significant and that even one is worth celebrating on Earth and in Heaven. God cares deeply and intentionally about your salvation and his relationship with you. We should seek every opportunity to share this magnificent gift of life that we have been given with the world.

Prayer: Lord, you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to take my place on the cross so that I could have eternal life. Help me to boldly share this gift of life with a lost and dying world. Thank you for holding my salvation in a place of such significance and celebration. I love you, Amen.
