2 Kings 15:34-35

He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father Uzziah had done. The high places, however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there.

As we journey with God, our goal is to become more like Him and to lead others, especially our immediate family, to Him. Those family members have a window into our lives that no one else does; they see the good along with the bad and ugly. We must walk humbly with God, seeking to let go or remove those things in our lives that do not help us become more like our heavenly Father. Set an example of a life lived in humility, grace and forgiveness.

God, give me clean hands and a pure heart. I want my life to draw others to you, not turn them away. Increase my awareness of the things in my life that keep my from knowing you even more. I love you.
