Psalms 77:11-12

"But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works."

The power of remembering. Do you find yourself in a season where it is difficult to be thankful? Possibly the world around you seems dark and you feel alone? This is where we can find comfort in who God is and what he has done. Too often we can be stuck in today and forget about the times that he has come through in the past. Personally, when he revealed himself or showed you love. Or throughout scripture, where he made promises that we know he will keep. God has a better memory than you and never forgets what he has spoken and promised over your life!

Jesus, help me today to remember all that you have done. Especially in my moments of weakness and heartache, help me to hold to the promises that you will not forget. I thank you for all that you have done, starting with the gift of salvation. I thank you that you have a plan for me in the midst of every season and I can trust you!
