Galatians 6:1

Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.

Insight: None of us are perfect, and we all need someone in our corner to both encourage and correct us. Paul instructs us to correct another believer gently and with a humble recognition that we all stumble from time to time. Correction should never be punitive or vindictive. It’s always about bringing someone back onto the right path.

Prayer: Jesus, show me who I can encourage today. And give me the courage and humility to receive correction from others who are in my corner. I know we are better together.
