Phil. 1:13-14

For everyone here, including all the soldiers in the palace guard, knows that I am in chains because of Christ. And because of my imprisionment, many of the Christians here have gained confidence and become more bold in telling others about Christ.

Paul being in prison was probably one of the most challenging things to ever happen to him. Yet in spite of being in a horrible place he made the best of it by telling his story of Christ’s redemption in his life. We all go through rough patches in our life, instead of us dwelling in the mud, mire and yuck of our situations, what if we used those times as opportunities to share the gospel? That even in the bad times of life God is still right besides us, with us, leading us. That is what we should share with others.

Dear Jesus, Thank you for never leaving me. Thank you that in the good or bad times I can share your story of hope and life. Give me the boldness and faith I need for every circumstance. Amen
