Hebrews 5:7

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.

This is a great reminder that Jesus modeled for us how we can and should cry out to Father God. Having a healthy prayer life is essential for our relationship with Christ and sometimes, a component of that is reaching out to Jesus with everything that is in us. We have a deep and profound need for God. As a Father, he waits to hear us cry out to him. If there is a need, weighing heavy on your heart, offer it up to your heavenly Father. He easily carries the burdens that we were never intended to carry.

Father, I turn to you in every circumstance. Help me to remember that you can handle hearing my cry for help. Thank you for carrying the things in life that feel heavy to me. I trust you even in confusion. You are such a good Father, Amen.
