Therefore He shall give them up,
Until the time that she who is in labor has given birth;
Then the remnant of His brethren
Shall return to the children of Israel.
4 And He shall stand and feed His flock
In the strength of the Lord,
In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God;
And they shall abide,
For now He shall be great
To the ends of the earth;
5 And this One shall be peace.
Scriptures in the old testament that specifically prophesy of Jesus' coming thousands of years later is a constant reminder of a miraculous God that we believe in. Verse 4 is referencing Jesus "feeding his flock" which is the analogy that we hear many times in the New Testament of Him being our shepherd and us being His sheep.
Thank you God for your many miracles that are laid throughout the Bible. I thank you that everything before and after Jesus' life points to Him - He is the key figure. Thank you God that you take it a step further and allow us to have an intimate relationship with Him despite our unworthiness.
